EuSEM Congresses

EuSEM holds an annual congress, usually in the autumn, in different European countries.

In accordance with the goals of EuSEM, the objective of these congresses is to promote the science and practice of Emergency Medicine in Europe, to reflect the diversity of emergency work and to give an opportunity to members to present their original work.

In alternate years (the ‘odd’ years) the Congress is organised in collaboration with the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and the national emergency medicine society of the country it is held in. These events are referred to as ‘Mediterranean Congress of Emergency Medicine’

In the ‘even years’, the Congress is organised by EuSEM and the national emergency medicine society of the country it is held in and referred to as ‘European Congress on Emergency Medicine’.

The next congress is the 6th Congress of Emergency Medicine to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, 11 - 14 October 2010. For details, click here.
