 Our focus lies on the most recent advancements in PEM and evidence-based practices, in line with the European training curriculum
This course it's dedicated to pediatricians and Emergency Medicine clinicians wanting to develop and improve their practical skills. It will be delivered by an internationally recognised faculty of experts with extensive field experience, focusing on best practices

  • This course is relevant to any Paediatric or Emergency Medicine clinicians at any level of training or post qualification as a medical specialist
  • It's highly recommended for senior trainees in Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine, early or senior stage  consultants wanting to refresh and update their knowledge and skills in PEM
  • Also intended for advanced (independent practicing) nurse practitioners
  • It's tailored to meet the learning needs of participants, focussed on delivering PEM in Western healthcare settings

Learning objectives

  • To gain insight on recent evidence based practice in paediatric emergency medicine that will impact on daily clinical care
  • To obtain clinical skills related to practising paediatric emergency medicine, with a focus on POCUS and procedural sedation
  • To interactively discuss various case scenarios in PEM and learn from faculty and other delegates about their clinical approaches and experiences
  • To develop competencies in managing emergency departments and lead a team in a resuscitation scenario
